Nicholas Boggs will deliver the 2026 James Baldwin Lecture, presented by James Baldwin Review.

James Baldwin Review is honored to announce that the 2026 James Baldwin Lecture will be delivered by Nicholas Boggs.

Boggs is the author of the bestselling biography, Baldwin: A Love Story (2025), and the coeditor of Baldwin's collaboration with French artist Yoran Cazac, Little Man, Little Man: A Story of Childhood (2018). 

The 2026 Lecture, entitled "James Baldwin Through the Prism of Love," will be held on November 13 at 4 p.m. in Emerson Auditorium at Washington University in St. Louis. You can RSVP here.
